South Korea
"The Scale-Up Nation"

South Korea is the 10th largest economy in the world and home to 52 million people. It is a net exporter of innovative products and is known for the high quality of its manufacturing. With a growing affluent middle class, South Korea is an attractive market for many international brands. In addition, its world renowned multinational corporations such as Samsung Electronics, LG, Hyundai Motors and more are always on the lookout for promising technologies that can sustain their competitive advantage.

For years, the Korean market has been overlooked by Israeli companies (both startups and established enterprises) who chose to focus almost exclusively on the Japanese and Chinese markets when it came to the Far East. However, the prolonged economic stagnation in Japan, concerns over lack of sufficient protection of intellectual property in China and developments at the geo-political level have shone a new light on the viability of South Korea as a breeding ground for business opportunities.

In the robotics industry, Korea has established itself as a global leader with a strong reputation for innovation, expertise, and quality. The Korean government has made significant investments in robotics research and development, and has created a supportive ecosystem that encourages entrepreneurship and innovation. Korean companies are known for their advanced manufacturing capabilities, and have developed a range of cutting-edge robotics solutions for a variety of industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, and logistics. Overall, Korea's strengths in robotics make it a highly attractive partner for companies looking to innovate and grow in this dynamic and rapidly evolving field.
